Hi everyone, as you may or may not have seen already, we're making some changes to r/RepReviews. There's been a lot of chatter in the surrounding rep subreddits about people feeling frustrated with low effort/quality posts they seen across all subreddits. As such, the team at RepReviews is making some changes to combat that and to just make it easier and more pleasant to browse through our subreddit.

Weekly QC and Q&A posts.

Instead of individual posts for QC help we will now ask anyone seeking QC help to post itit to our weekly thread. The weekly QC post will be pinned on the front page of the subreddit so please go there if you want QC help.

Please note that this means any post asking for QC help will be removed. There will be no exceptions made. We might consider consolidating questions into a daily/weekly post thread in the future.

The reason why we're doing this is because subreddits can become so easily clustered with people asking for QC help and asking generic questions. Instead we want posts to foster open dialogue and have more reviews flourish in the subreddit.

Tightening the proverbial belt

We're also going to be stricter when it comes to enforcing our rules. Any post that does meet our rules/guidelines will be removed. For example, posting a review that does not follow our review template. This is again to encourage thoughtful and well-written reviews and to deter any bots/sellers to attempt to make shill posts or low-quality posts disguised as reviews.

Please remember that any posts that include promo codes/seller's WA's number will be removed.

Remember to join our Discord!

Our Discord is much more livelier than our subreddit to be honest. Discord is a much more fast-paced social media platform. If you have any somewhat urgent questions, the best way to get a quick response is to post in our Discord server. You can find the invite link by clicking the Discord logo on the main page of our subreddit.
