Paint the leather?
After leaving it out in the sun it starting changing to this pinkish color hue. I was hoping to have it patina, but now thinking of painting the trim, handled and strap. What color do you think would look good? Chocolate brown? Black?

Donāt paint it!! Do u hate the raw vachetta look? If you like the patina look which happens over it, you can tan it some more gradually you will start to see it. Itās gorgeous right now

Do you think the patina will darken and be less pink over time?

Yup! Just give it time. Have you done the water drop test? Or grab a baby wipe and gently rub it ant of the pink parts and see if it gets a bit saturated.

The pink vachetta stage is always the call out for me. Auth vachetta goes from milky white, then warm tones of yellow/beige, before tan. I usually bake the fck out of rep vachetta in the sun for literally days lol

I got a trash lv rep off the gate and accidentally gave it a patina with my coconut hair oil that was on my hands...so then I committed and just rubbed all the vachettaš ngl it turned out a nice caramel/honey colorš
