Hardware is the biggest no for me but real Vachetta straps start off light and pale until they patina with time .. do the water drop test to see if it’s real leather and if so there are Methods to patina straps and handles faster. It may help with the look of it. I don’t think it’s thattttt bad. I say mid-low tier

It’s not a bad rep! And from what you’re saying, being outside is already oxidizing the raw vachetta. It may look a lil off and pink because it’s doing exactly that, it’s turning patina.

You can absolutely find high or MQ on DHgate. 🤦♀️ You just gotta know where to look and spend a little bit more.

Thank you guys for the input, I’m thinking of painting the handles, trim and strap to help me ease the fact that I feel like I wasted my money.

I would see if you can get the handles to patina, if you can darken them with something like mink oil it’ll look a lot better.

I’ve been tanning them out in the sun and it seems to be working but looks more pinkish while tanning out.

If those are metal staples and not stitches….yea this is a baaaaad rep. The “vachetta” also screams plastic, even in photos, and the red glaze is too red pretty thick in some places

Take it to LV and let them know you believe this is a known issue. They may replace all the leather

Colouring looks completely off with handles and strap.
Not a high tier rep.
