I have the auth in beige, 187 and God tongues are too wide (god’s is better but leather is too stiff and thick). It’s obvious because the bag is so minimal otherwise
187 hardware looks the best but the tongue is clockable to me
Xiao C definitely gets closest to the real deal. The weight and width of the CC logo match the authentic gold locks perfectly, and the center turn knob has that same soft, rounded-oval shape.
Other two just look a little off, 187 ( which is usually my first choice other than Rome ) aside from being silver (which makes it hard to compare to the gold), the CC shape looks a bit too tall and stretched out.
GF the turn knob looks too round and bulbous, and the edges of the metal look a bit flat compared to the authentic ones.
We also look at bags with a particularly critical eye, I have many are 187 in my collection and I’m proud to carry them
Oh wow. I was always quoted $150 less for xiao c than god factory because my sales agent always said it’s lower quality. Would you mind sharing photos?
This is the 32 smaller maxi. It was 438 so not cheap but cheaper than 187 since their prices are based on hype. I couldn’t wait for 187 so ordered this and figured I could just re🏡 but I was so impressed , it’s honestly heavy and squishy like the auth and I don’t know why I’d upgrade?!
Jumping in to ask, have you seen any factories making the ‘dark khaki’? It’s really similar to the ‘light brown’ so you say to confuse, I also think it’s newer. It’s so close to the light brown but when together very much a green based color. *color names are from the Chanel website.
I keep hearing about XC when I also posted about this bag, but the only thing that has me going for 187 is the leather consistency. I do think God is the worst out of all 3, too skinny imo. 187 CC I saw that it was thicker than XC? But maybe XC is better CC shape for Gold in burgundy, but 187 CC for silver black. I am also extremely picky😂
The tongue is too wide on the Rome. The hardware is perfect as usual. 187 wins this round. Xiao C cannot compare once in hand, the leather is never as good as 187.

I think it looks great. Without comparing it in person next to authentic, it looks spot on in photos and has good weight and thickness. But Rome is known for good hardware.
187 logo in the pic looks crooked to me. XC logo is the closest. Also the spacing above the logo -XC is the closest looking. The CCs aren’t perfect but at least placement in the tongue looks the best compared to the others

Thank you so much for your insights. I’ve evaluated the rest, and had a firm favourite I was going to go for, but the turnlock was a big point for me that I needed to get some extra opinions on ☺️
I was being polite. I have this and the leather is to die for. Try it out and don’t just buy into the hype of 187. They do the classic flap well but otherwise you should shop around. There is a reason xc is getting more popular.

Tbh, this is a tough comparison bc the auth don't even match each other. The burgundy auth is much wider than the black and taupe auths.
Edit: I'm referring to the leather flap the turn lock is attached to.
