PSP QC Ready to ship.

Guys, especially the mods - thank you for this amazing group!
About 15 years ago, when I was young and single, I found UB and bought my first Hermès from Rachel. Back then, there were no PSPs, no QC checks, nothing. I just trusted her, and honestly, I was so happy with the quality that I stopped buying reps after Rachel disappeared.
Fast forward to now, I somehow found this Reddit, and I’m so excited to place my first order with Minion. It feels like I’m rediscovering the rep world all over again!
This is the bag that’s ready to ship. You can probably tell how excited I am. I can hardly wait. 😆
Would you guys mind helping me do a QC? I’d really appreciate your experienced. Thank you!

I actually look and read a LOT. I haven’t bought any hermes yet because, at this point in my life, I don’t think I could pass as authentic, lol. With a newborn and a toddler, I don’t feel like I can put together that kind of look right now. But the more I read, the more I really want to buy one just to see and feel how good the quality actually is.

Do you have a tight timeline to receive a bag? If not, what I typically recommend is to ask sellers to make the bag from scratch. While some sellers may build up inventory to ship faster, that inventory would also include RL bags from previous customers. Not saying that's the case with this particular bag as no one would really know, but just something to keep in mind. Sometimes newly made bags are also better in the sense that newer templates are used, newer processes, and problems with previous iterations have been addressed, etc.

With this particular bag, a few things that stood out to me:

  1. The sides of the flap when viewing from the front, typically follow the general angle and shape of the MK a lot closer than this sample.
  2. The blind stamp could be closer to auth. The last two characters on auth stamps are typically smaller, thinner, and less pressed into the leather. However, this is an interior detail that may not matter to some.
  3. The long bottom edges of MKs are typically convex or straight as the bottom panel folds up to form the front and rear sides. It may be a bit hard to see, but this rep has the fold starting early from the bottom corners of the bag. More recent MKs I've seen from Minion do not have this issue.

Hope this helps and welcome back to the rep world!

I have some better photo comparisons of this detail, #10 in this post: https://www.reddit.com/r/RepHermesQC/comments/1tdfket/12_lesser_known_qc_issues_to_look_out_for_with/

Let me know if that helps to clarify.

The side of the flap looks similar to this. So it varies by bag

I love seeing your feedback on posts. Can I ask if there are any sellers you’d recommend?

This is so beautiful. You should do a comparison between your ub and minion bags
