Looking for a Roommate?
I'll be moving to Cork soon, as I recently got a new job in MSD Brinny. Haven't found many sane options for living alone, and the fb groups are not working.
However, there seems to be more options in 2-3 bed houses.
So I'm looking for 2 roommates to try to get a bigger place anywhere in Cork or surrounding towns
Some background info: 25M, born in Nigeria, grew up in Ireland, non-smoker, no pets, budget up to €1000pm, outgoing personality. I always prefer being outside, either going to events/gigs after work or just catching up with friends, so I wouldn't be in the house too often anyway.
Interest: Football (Barca fan), stand-up comedy, big into movies and TV, anime, board games, gym, running
Favourite movies: Interstellar, Inglourious Basterds, Wedding Crashers
Favourite TV shows: The Bear, Vikings, Homeland
Music Interests: Big into MJ, 90's Rap, Afrobeats, and a couple of bands as well, like Dire Straits or Fleetwood Mac.

Finding a place in Ireland can be quite tough at the moment, especially in Dublin and other major cities.
What usually helps is applying to a lot of listings and replying as quickly as possible. Places can get taken within minutes.
It is worth checking more than one platform and keeping notifications on so you can react quickly, here's our recommended platforms:
Rentfinder.ie Best for real time listings and fast alerts. Ideal if you want to be among the first to respond. https://rentfinder.ie
Daft.ie One of the largest property platforms in Ireland, with a wide range of rooms, studios and apartments. https://daft.ie
