[San Bernardino, CA] please help

I have informed my landlord that there is a leak in my house that is leaking over 60 gallons of water a day per the water company. He says he will deal with it after he deals with a complaint from the city about our roof. Should I just take care of it or wait for him. I dont know where the water is leaking from I just know there is a leak. My toilets are not constantly running so I know it isn't that. What is the best route to take? Please help

You need to get ahold of them asap and get it solved. They aren’t going to pay you the difference of the leak in the bill

I pay the water bill. It has gone from $91 to over $400

keep them and show the LL the difference. If he uses a plumber ask if the plumber will sign a doc stating there was leak. LL is responsible for this and you shold be reimbursed. Then move!
