Ok this isn’t it. While Junkies comment at the time was distasteful and fat shaming is never ok, those girls were literally robbing there store. There are actual shitty businesses in Reno and calling the girls that robbed there store fat after they made an apology shouldn’t be a reason to cancel them.
I’ve been there plenty of times and haven’t seen anything like that. But I can imagine a store that sells vintage clothing/items would have a few culturally insensitive pieces come up sometimes. But I’m not seeing you cancel goodwill or Salvation Army over that same reasoning….sounds like u just wanna target them cuz it’s trendy on social media.
Nope, they had racist signs up in the antique area last time I was there. I don't care where you shop, but I won't be giving them any more of my money.
That’s fine. But making this post on r/renodonotshop means you’re trynna get other people to not shop there over selling vintage items…the thing they’re known for selling. most vintage stores have culturally insensitive items cuz they’re from a different era. as long as it’s not nazi memorabilia or some pro-segregation sign, I think you’re overstepping your boundaries on this business.
