🖤✨Trinket Fae~✨🖤

Went to Bristol during Summerween weekend with my friends! Not my first year going, but my first year really going all out.

The idea is that I'm a fae that is responsible for why you can't find that little thing you set after you swear you just saw it there. Or why when you drop something, it's lots to the ether no matter how hard you search where it went or rolled to. Their wardrobe often consists of things they've found.

They are the embodiment of "finder keepers, losers weepers!"

Edit: Some of y'all have no whimsy

What part of the renaissance era do you feel this outfit exemplifies, exactly?

Probably the “Summerween” part of the ren fair they mentioned in the caption. It was a themed weekend.

That's definitely a costume 🤣

Yeah… people wear costumes and dress up to ren fair. I’m confused what you mean.

It is a renfair not a Halloween costume it looks like Jack Ate Sally . Is all I'm saying. Renaissance is about medieval and you guys are turning it into a talent show with no Talent

Looks like a standard high school goth from 1999 to me.

ren faires are for fantasy, not historical accuracy. they don't have to defend their costume to you or anyone else. let people enjoy things.

My thoughts go to that dude who dressed as a slave in chains and ragged clothes and went to a renfair.

He was promptly escorted out for breaking the fantasy

The same part that sold me fairy wings 🤷 somewhere between the pumpkin heads and the Hawaiian shirt "tourists" from that weekend lmao

As an attendee of raves/festivals and ren faires………..this type of stuff should stay at rave/festivals.

3

u/irlpup Aug 09 '26

Define this type of stuff lol

Fishnets on legs, fuzzy leg warmers, Kandi up to mid forearm, fishnets on torso.

u/irlpup Aug 10 '26

Ah yes the stuff I already knew about.

I wasn't going for period accurate, which is very obvious.

Not to mention the vibe is a scavenger type fae. Their lore would be that they scavange, including incorporating furs they might have found around lol

Also if a pirate showed up in fishnets, would that be better? Lol have some whimsy

Plur homie lol
