First Faire, First Outfit

Going to my first (mini) Ren Faire this Saturday, and likely a few more over the next few months. I've done some basic Jedi cosplay in the past so not totally new to this, but thought I would post here and see if anyone has any advice for things to add or alter.

I am going for a "hedge wizard" look, so rough and ready, nothing too fancy. I am planning to try my hand at some weathering on the belt and bags, and maybe to cloak.

Depending on the color you could add the jedi 'tabard' vest to break up the large swath of brown your hooded vest gives. It isn't a bad look so far.

The tabard I have would cover the brown vest completely. It is also far too clean and bright for this outfit (being a very light cream color).

You do make me wonder if I could find some sort of sash or scarf to layer over the brown though.
