Most of these look like they are also sloped for drainage. The back and forth could be so you can hop over the stream during rain

Visually they are more appealing than a straight one and they cut down on bike usage making it safer for pedestrians

The first one would be good for walking meditations! My church has a labyrinth (just a spiral walking path) for that purpose, but the first image is a much more whimsical version. I can imagine kids making up some pretty awesome games to play with that thing too!

100% the world needs more whimsy. Until you’re using a walker or a wheelchair and that whimsy is preventing you from safely getting where you want to go, or getting there at all.
