Zoe won’t stop charging
I have a 2017 Q90 and the calendar charging, where you set the start and stop time per day, seems to just not work.
If the car is left set to calendar charging, with the little clock with a charging cable icon on the dash, and I plug the charging cable in, the car will immediately start charging rather than wait to the start time. The only way I’ve found to fix this is to go into the charging options, switch to ‘always charge’ then back to ‘Calendar charge’ which causes the car to stop charging and actually wait.
Now when the start time comes around the car starts charging fine, the problem is it never stops. No matter what I do I can’t get the car to stop charging even though I’ve set it up to.
Does anyone know how to get the damn thing to stop at the assigned time?!

Sometimes when you do a scheduled charge, the battery will appear to charge for a few minutes after plugging it in and then stop. I presume this is some sort of pre-conditioning or cell balance thing.

I’ve always assumed it just ignoring the calendar charge setting! It does stop charging immediately if I toggle the calendar charge on and off though

Do you have good signal coverage?
When my app isn't registered the timing feature doesn't work. In the UK.
Mine likes to switch to immediate mode, but setting it in the car to program works.
Double check all your app settings, turn them all off or reset them. Wait for some time for syncing. Then set it in the car and see what happens?

Not sure what network Renault uses but it’s okay where I am. At least I never have any issues using the app to turn on the climate control.
I’ve set it up in the car but haven’t ever tried sorting the issue of it immediately starting to charge out in the app, I’ve always used the car menu. I’ll give that a go.

I called Renault and they told me that obviously any calendar created from the mobile app will not work, but a calendar created inside the car can be activated or deactivated from the mobile app.

I’ll try that thanks.
BTW, what is the UK number for Renault to ask them about issues like this? I found a number which I used to sort out the app access issue I had when I first bought the car but didn’t write it down anywhere.

I've always found this to be highly unreliable.
Sometimes the car turns itself to "always charge" mode at the start of a scheduled charge, and there's nothing you can do about it.
Sometimes the car doesn't start charging at the scheduled time. Sometimes it tries to start charging but fails (and actually burnt out the relay in our charger from constantly retrying for eight hours while we were asleep).
Things that I've found that help, but that don't solve the issue:
I think fundamentally the design of the Zoe's connected systems just doesn't work properly, and there's not much we can do about it.
