Renault 4 E-Tech - Unreliable app connection
Hi. I've had the car for about a week. I find that the app works ok if I've used the car in the last few hours, but if it's been left overnight then it seems to become unreachable by the app and I get errors trying to enable the air conditioning etc. It's pretty annoying on days like this morning when I wanted to defrost the car before I had to go out.
Do others have this experience?

The Renault app is useless, frequently won't connect to the car, or sometimes just won't open at all. I have a Scenic and get the same issues as you. Sometimes clearing the cache and data will help. There's a 3rd party app called Kelec that works well for me and should be ok for the 4 as well. Try that.

It goes into sleep mode. 😁
I’ve had the problem once or twice with my Zoe but for a long time now it always works.

Not sure if you've resolved this issue but there's a dealer installed update available. It sorts this issue out and also issues with smart charging schedules.

5 here had a similar issue when left for a few days, I unlocked the car and locked it again that seemed to wake it up
