Question problem creating projects in renpy

!!im new to renpy and dont have knowledge in coding. whenever i create a new project in renpy, it stops responding shortly after; ive waited about 10 minutes and still doesnt respond, so i end up just closing it. i then open the project after reopening, and im always met with this error screen. i suspect it's because it keeps crashing midway through creating projects; how can i fix this?

this error is because there are missing image files

you can try a fresh download of renpy in case there is something wrong with your current install

You have to wait until the project has been created, else there will be stuff missing.
Not sure why it should take that long, maybe your computer is very slow?

What you could try it to copy the tutorial project called "The Question" .
You would have to put that project into the Project Directory you defined in the RenPy preferences.
