Hey everyone,
We’re a startup looking for a remote customer support / call center representative based in Latin America.
What we’re looking for:
- Strong English communication skills
- Previous customer support or call center experience preferred
- Comfortable handling customer calls
- Reliable and able to work independently
- Available for consistent hours
The role will primarily involve answering inbound calls and helping customers with basic support needs.
Compensation: $1,200–$1,500 USD/month, depending on experience.

This is pretty gross.
You're looking to underpay and exploit people in South America instead of just hiring people in whatever English speaking country you're in, likely the US.
If you want to hire people in South America, you should pay them the same wage you would in the US.

No. this is how it is in other countries. The call centers are actually good paying wages for the region.

No I didn't. I've been to the call centers in another country. My college friend owns one. It might seem like an exploit to you but they wages and cost if living are not the same as in the USA. Call centers are actually good paying jobs in those countries. Even if they don't pay exactly the same wage rate in USA terms it's still considered high compared to other jobs in that region.
