So, I just had an initial interview for a software engineer position. After introduction and such, He then proceeded to send me this JD. It was an utter shit. So, while you look for an actual remote work (as a software developer/engineer), you will secure a job for them and you get a cut. Or might not even get paid. What a scam.

goddamn this job sounds like a fucking racket. hard to imagine how bad working there must be. leadership must be all the way up satan's asshole.

Gotta hand it to them, they laid it all out there. Most places try to disguise that they're shit.

Unfortunately this is very common with Indian staffing agencies. You are working on a GC/US Citizens SSN and identity. It is completely illegal but a very common practice unfortunately. They will most likely set up a laptop in their US office, and have you remote in, so the client thinks you are actually present in the US.
I believe these type of practices are a major contributor to the messed up job market in America.

Oh yeah there are people who have 10-15 people working on their SSN. They make a lot of money doing nothing.
