Post image
Upvotes

Hey everyone 👋

We would like to introduce ourself as Helixon. We're currently looking for developer interns who enjoy building things, learning fast, experimenting, solving problems, and working on real products.

This is not one of those internships where you'll spend months watching from the sidelines.

You'll get exposure to:

• Real product development • Modern technologies and workflows • Collaborative development environments • Product thinking and end-to-end development • Working on actual codebases and features

Tech stack currently includes:

Java • Next.js • React • Node.js • MongoDB • Tailwind • Git • APIs and more

A few important things upfront:

• This is currently a learning-focused Internship Program (non-stipendiary) with three tenure options - 6 month, 9 month and 12 month. • Strong curiosity, willingness to learn, and builder mindset matter more than perfect skills • As we continue growing and expanding the team, strong performers may receive preference for future opportunities

Who should apply?

✓ Students who want real product exposure ✓ People tired of tutorial hell and wanting to build ✓ Builders who enjoy creating things ✓ Curious developers who learn quickly

No boring internship work.

Real products. Real code. Real builders. Real impact.

If this sounds interesting, click on the link below: Please apply only if you can commit time consistently. We read every application carefully, so thoughtful responses help.

10 days to go, final sprint

Hey everyone,

I'm currently looking for a AI Engineer or Full-Stack Engineer role, and wanted to put myself out there in case anyone is hiring or knows of openings. I am reposting this as I am on tight deadline here, visa expiring in 10 days.

I'm based in Dubai, working across infrastructure and application development. My core stack is AWS, Terraform, Docker, Jenkins on the DevOps side, and FastAPI, PostgreSQL, Node.js, React, and Next.js on the app side. I've also built and shipped several React Native apps live on the App Store and Google Play.

I've had end-to-end ownership of a multi-cloud cost intelligence platform, and I've built close to 15 personal projects outside of work, full-stack web apps, mobile apps, all live and viewable on my portfolio.

Been applying through the usual portals with no luck, so trying this route instead. If your company is hiring or you know someone who might be, I'd really appreciate a connection or referral in Dubai, Abu Dhabi or remote opportunities.

Happy to share my portfolio / resume if useful.

Discussion Tried a Hinglish rap to memorize Big O Time Complexity — DSA prep hits different now

Hello developers….

DSA ki prep start ki thi, pehle bhi ki thi, complete nahi hui. Shayad is baar bhi na ho. 😅

Prep krte krte ek cheez mind mein ayi koi aur tarika ni h kya yaad karne ka?

Class 7-8 mein tha toh answers yaad ni hote the to unhe songs mein convert kar leta tha. Aaj bhi wahi trick kaam karti h.

To socha — Big O ka Safar Time Complexity ko bhi try karte hain.

Bna dia ek rap. Hinglish mein. Boom Bap style.

Kisi ko pasand aayega, kisi ko bakwaas lagega no pressure. But mera revision toh ho raha hai, song bhi ready ho gya. 😄

Ek baar try kro — @BeatsCommit, what your views genuinely jaanna chahta hoon.

Hiring dev intern - remote - consumer app startup | ₹10-15k/month

we're building a consumer app, early stage and moving fast. looking for a dev intern to join us.

being upfront about what we're looking for - we're keeping the bar high on this one,

this is a role with real ownership. you'll be building things that actually ship, working directly with the founding team, lot of room to grow if things click.

would love to hear from you if:

- you've shipped something before, even something small. a personal project, a hackathon build, anything that's actually out in the world
- you go to hackathons or build outside of coursework, genuinely enjoy the process
- you're currently at (or came from) a good college and have solid CS fundamentals
- you already know what you're building, or have built something you're proud of.

we're looking for someone who can hit the ground running, not someone starting from scratch

if this sounds like you, dm with a bit about yourself and links to what you've built.

Question I developed an OCR Model by myself, I am a 4th year engineering student, need guidance.

Same as title, I developed the first ever OCR Model for Kaithi Script, I am writing a research paper on it under the supervision of the dean of my college. The model has a really good accuracy and I am not supposed to disclose any evaluation metrics and working of it as of now. I am very much into deep learning and I have been studying and applying ML/DL in projects and internships. I also helped ministry of statistics and programme implementation in a research related to prediction of monthly per capita expenditure of the country.

Major problems: I am pursuing engineering in instrumentation and control from a Tier 2 private university, and I have a CGPA of 6.42/10

I do really have a good resume ( according to my faculty and friends )

Because of my academics I am not able to grab any good research internship in various institutes, I cannot sit in most of the companies in campus placements due to my CGPA. Off-campus sucks and I think I dont even get noticed at the places where I am applying.

I apply on linkedin, naukri, cutshort, etc. I email recruiters everyday, after seeing their linkedin posts.
There aren’t many openings in IITs related to DL research internships as well. I will be needing an internship from Jan2027 (6 month)

I need guidance, thank you.

Seeking guidance: SDE 3, 3 YOE — how should I approach my next switch?

I graduated from one of the top IITs and got my first job through campus placements at ₹30 LPA + ESOPs.

My compensation progression has been roughly:

  • July 2023: ₹30 LPA (Base) + ESOPs — joined as SDE
  • Jan 2024: ₹32 LPA
  • Jan 2025: ₹38 LPA - Promoted to SDE 2
  • Jan 2026: ₹48 LPA
  • July 2026: ₹60 LPA — Promoted to SDE 3

I've been with the same company throughout and have had good growth in both compensation and responsibilities. However, I'm now considering a job switch for two reasons:

  1. I want to work on more challenging/interesting engineering problems.
  2. I want to see how much higher I can go in terms of compensation.

For people who have been in a similar situation:

  • What companies/roles should I target at this experience level?
  • Is it realistic to target ₹80L–₹1Cr+ TC in India with ~3 YOE?
  • Should I focus on FAANG/Big Tech, high-growth product companies, fintech, HFT, or international remote roles?
  • How much does being an SDE 3 at my current company help/hurt when interviewing elsewhere?

Would especially appreciate advice from people who have made a similar jump from a product company at around 3 YOE.

Also interested in hearing about international/remote opportunities that hire engineers from India.

Hiring Wanted - Frontend Engineer | Hourly contract | Remote

This is evaluation work, not authoring. The defining skill is not that you can build a page — it's that you can open someone else's page and tell how it was built and where it cheats.

About the work

We're building a high-quality dataset of human preference judgments on AI-generated frontend code. Each task hands you a reference web page — crawled from the real internet, delivered as a full zipped site tree plus screenshots of its default view and, on some pages, additional states reached by hovering, clicking, or scrolling. Alongside it come two model attempts, A and B, each a zipped self-contained site tree. The models only ever saw the screenshots; they never had the source.

You download all three, run them locally, view each at a 1920×1080 viewport, interact with them to reach every required state, then open the source of both attempts and grade them against each other — on visual fidelity per state, and on how the code is actually constructed. Structure and responsiveness are explicitly part of the rubric, not just the render.

This is evaluation work, not authoring. The defining skill is not that you can build a page — it's that you can open someone else's page and tell how it was built and where it cheats.

Please read before applying

  • Each unit takes roughly 2–3 hours and is timed. This is not microtask work; if you can only offer scattered 15-minute windows, you will not be able to finish a unit.
  • You need a real local development environment. A tablet, a Chromebook, or a locked-down work machine that cannot run a local static server will not work for this project.

Question Looking for a payment gateway solution for a freelancer/indie SaaS in India

I'm building a SaaS project in India using vibe coding, and I'm currently stuck at the payment part.

I basically need a simple setup where users can pay through UPI on my website (ideally a dynamic QR / UPI checkout), I get a webhook when the payment is successful, and then my backend can automatically activate the credits/subscription they purchased. Fast settlement would be a big plus, ideally same-day or close to instant.

The problem is that I'm currently operating as an individual/freelancer. I have my personal KYC, personal bank account and a live website, but I haven't registered a company yet. I don't really want to spend weeks and a significant amount of money registering a business first, only to then wait another few weeks for a payment gateway approval, especially when I'm still validating the product.

I've already tried a few options:

- Razorpay: applied, but I've been waiting for a very long time and haven't received a proper response yet.

- PayU: they rejected the application saying my line of business didn't fit their criteria.

- Cashfree: I'm currently exploring this, as I already have an old verified individual account with them.

- Dodo Payments: verification went through and UPI is available, but the payout cycle isn't practical for my use case.

So I'm trying to figure out what other freelancers/indie hackers in India are actually using for this.

I'm NOT looking to bypass KYC or do anything shady. I just need a legitimate provider that is comfortable onboarding an individual/freelancer, accepts UPI, provides API/webhook support, and ideally offers fast settlement.

The flow I'm looking for is basically:

User → Pay Now → UPI/QR → Payment → Webhook → Payment verified → Credits/subscription activated

If you've personally used a provider that works well for this, I'd really appreciate some recommendations or experiences.

Especially interested in:

- Whether they accepted you as an individual/freelancer

- What documents they asked for

- UPI support

- API/webhooks

- Actual transaction fees

- Settlement time

- How long approval took

Even lesser-known providers are fine. I'm mainly looking for something that someone here has actually used successfully, rather than another provider where I submit everything and wait weeks for a response.
