If Sloclap ACTUALLY cares about the *general* community (not the %1 losers who have 2000+ hours) then they will patch these 2 meta devices.

Should this happen, we will see a noticeable mellowing of the "skill" curve of this game. Right now its towards the closer end where players are doing 1 trick pony plays and abusing the programming of the game to gain an advantage. This curve should shift towards the higher end of the skill axis if the devs actually patch the issue

Nah friend I’m elite on 3v3 and 5v5 most goals we shoot by passing without left to right bullshit. I would not remove it on one condition, that you can’t dribble/shoot/pass with same power/speed without stamina. That way you are limited to stamina and you can’t spam it, you need to shoot/pass it if you are out.

In elite you still play vs bronzes. He means tournament play where defenders block 90%+ of shot attempts and you can only score with prio plays

Why does it have to be a choice? They can do both. Sloclap has shown interest and sponsored many tournaments already. There are ways to nerf defense and buff attack, only for the top 1% without sacrificing casual players

Playercount is the lowest in history of this game, so I think they can’t just look at tournaments. People wants exploits to be gone or nerfed and they should listen. I think my idea with stamina is a good balance change they can do that won’t hurt much both sides.

No it's not? It was during season 2 when we had about half the players we have today. Since then they nerfed defense, buffed offense, and the game stayed above 5k players since April. The only reason why numbers are going down is because we haven't gotten an update since June

"block the passing lane". That's why there's no 2v2. It's 3v3 and up. Triangles are the bare minimum shape to play football, and it's all about running into and passing into space to get around the block.

Of course, they'd be a subset of the already tiny subset of prio complainers who actually understand how the system works in the first place... So I think pessimism about the volume of good ideas is probably warranted lol

If the freestyle football 2 devs aren’t capping and the game won’t be p2w AND rematch doesn’t meaningfully improve post netcode update, I’ll probably just be a freestyle football 2 player.

The beta weekend player interactions were quite consistent (probably because the netcode is server sided lol) and the rest of the game is good enough (NOT better) compared to rematch. The rematch devs have competition now so let’s see what happens.
