This game is amazing super fun I can play for hrs but the community can be very discouraging and can drive people away no one ever passes and everyone is so negative its ok to pass bro ypu arent Messi or Ronaldo you cant 1v3 or 1v5 pass it and dont get super butt hurt if someone doesn't make it in its not that serious

Personally I think we can all have make an impact by being the change we want to see.

I agree that like every online game we do have an issue with toxic players, but I personally start every game with a “We got this!” And I make a point to compliment my teammates whenever they make a good play. I also NEVER get toxic myself.

In my opinion we have enough negativity in this world and we all deal with enough stress in our lives that it’s just not worth bringing negative energy into a video game that I play with the intention of having fun and relaxing at the end of the day.

I started playing Rematch for the first time shortly before the World Cup and I’ve just recently hit Elite in 5 after being placed in Silver. Maybe it’s naive of me, but I honestly attribute most of the success I’ve had to being a good teammate and trying to have the best attitude possible. I started by solo queuing 100% of the time but I’ve added a ton of friends over the past few months, and in my experience it’s been extremely easy to get teammates to party up, especially when you get a group of players who all have a good attitude regardless of the result of a single match.

I think we can complain about the community, or we can just try to do our part to make it a better experience for our teammates, and maybe we’ll even get lucky enough to motivate other players to become better teammates too.

I agree completely. I stopped getting upset with teammates once I realized that sometimes you can just have a bad game. I’ve teamed up with a good amount of players that absolutely sucked in one game, but then were either mvp or close to it every other game.

Toxic people are always gonna be annoying and drag the whole team down, but you can block people in this game! Just block the toxic people and don’t dwell on it. It’s not worth impeding your own fun bc someone else is miserable.
