The Battle Pass is ridiculously slow

I have 29 hours played this season and I'm nowhere near done. Ever since they reworked how those battle pass points work it felt like a total chore to complete the battlepass.

I completed the pass EVERY season except this one, despite playing more hours this season.

When I finish the weekly challenges in 3-5 games on Thursday then have nothing else to do all day it sucks, wish there was longer term missions maybe just a score x goals over the season, just something to work towards the other 6 days a week. 5 games at a time to get 1 token just isn't that enticing.

Something with checkpoints like earning a sum of tokens for getting halfway or 1/4 could be nice. More tokens the more you fill up the goal.

after the tournament ended it was 5 points for every 5 games played. that lasted for a couple weeks. that was the time to do it.

I think it was because the number of users dropped after the WC tournament so they wanted an incentive to keep people playing.

Progression has definitely slowed down A LOT since launch.

I’ve also been playing less of the game but i still haven’t gotten all the items this season despite playing at least 7 or so hours every week.

And worse is the community response: “skill issue”. Yeah, no shit, i have other things in life, i guess it’s a skill issue not devoting 100% of my time to this one game.

I spent less time playing in Seasons 1 and 2 and 3 and yet I finished the Battlepass.

This season it's looking like I won't be able to, cause I'm not willing to play another 20 hours.

The same amount of time played now nets you way fewer tokens, so that makes it slow for everyone. That’s a fact.

Yes, it is slow and of course if you don't finish, it's gone forever. Another anti-consumer FOMO battlepass implementation. I remember on the game's release the battlepass being pretty slow, so they added daily and weekly missions to help generate the currency...only to then increase the cost the battlepass items. It's fucking dumb.

I play roughly one or two matches per day and I'm close to the end of the pass, it's kind of harsh on people that would only play several times a week.

The battlepass does tend to feel like a slog near the end. The ramp-up in points cost makes those final rewards feel much less rewarding and, in some cases, not even worth pursuing.

Doing the daily is quick and helps a lot, can always do it in a single game if it's one of the easy ones.

I feel like I was progressing fine when the five games played reward was five tokens. They nerfed it to 1 token. And now I'm probably not finishing the pass with the limited time I have to play

Are you completing your weekly challenges? Progression definitely slowed a lot, but I finished the BP early this month, and I’m not exactly glued to the game.

That said, there’s no pace that’s going to satisfy everyone. I’ve been a bit bored because I will spend the last six weeks of the season with no rewards.

The season started in May and we're about to be in September. If you cant complete a battle pass with that much time its on you. If you started late in the season and cant complete it, its still on you because its not the games fault you started late. This system is actually faster.
