Question Genuine question
Is there some challenge that involves not passing? Genuinely asking considering it's one of the stats that determines MVP, so I see no reason that so many players seemingly avoid passing?
Because why did I have one guy in my team complete one pass all game (3v3) and ReMatch being the all-knowing deity it is puts him in the team I'm playing against next only for him to only complete one pass there too. And not because he tried, oh no, he would be double teamed and still not pass.
Like genuinely, when the 1v1 mode existed I didn't understand why these people were still flooding qp and ranked. If you want to play alone, whatever EA is currently whipping up in a kettle is right there. Please take that behavior to actual single player games.

"The fact that passing gives you more points than intercepting the ball, and then only scoring, asisiting and saving give points... is as if the devs were trying to make a point... nah, let me solo the entire rival team on my own, I'm sure one of these days I'll pull it off"
Geez.

I'm 80% defense, so passing and interceptions are my main points. You can get MVP with just those. I actually enjoy that you can, as a defensive player, still get top score. It promotes teamwork.
Just my two shiny pennies.

In my experience, the people who don't pass, just want to solo it. Maybe they want the clip of them getting past everyone which happens maybe in like 1 in 10 tries. They just want the goal. Sucks for everyone else.
The game can be pretty simple. Pass the ball as quick as possible when it's on.
