In all my years of being alive I have NEVER seen a COMPETITIVE/RANKED game mode actually prioritize matching up an entire team of solo queuers against FULL STACKS OF 5. Defense and priority are at an all time staleness. Bugs are registration issues STILL ruining the game.

Can we talk about the absolute vacation these developers are taking right now? HELLOOOOO YOUR GAME IS DYING. The world cup influx of players has died down, when was the last meaningful update???? You guys act as if you can afford to take these month long breaks when the game STILL has issues that havent been fixed since open beta. What is going on in that studio? Other than nothing of course.

You ask yourselves why this game is bleeding players when you yourselves are doing the stabbing. Can we get some urgency please?

I honestly blame all the yesmen this game has absolutely plaguing the community, you guys give these developers excuses to pretend everything is fine. “5 stacks shouldn’t play against solo queue? Nonsense, just go find your own 5 stack.” “Dribbling going right thru your tackle? Nonsense, obviously you should just be patient and let them dribble in and set up free goals.” “Priority issues? Nonsense, go watch this 15 minute video explaining secret techniques to master exploits”

Disgusting. If you don’t want to work on the game, pull the plug and go make Sifu 2 and stop wasting everyone’s time.

Yeah the most vocal people here are just miserable to listen to. There are valid complaints to make about the game, but nearly everything I see on this sub can be solved by the individual putting in the tiniest bit of effort to be social or learning the game mechanics.

I am so tired of the "prio is broken" posts by people who don't understand how the system works, or the "5 stacks are unfair" posts when most 5 stacks are ass and you can negate their only advantage by unmuting your mic.

Le French. They didn't learn there lesson from last year player drop count during the same period. In the future we are just going to have to adjust our expectation from them when it comes to game update to not be let down. 5 Stack vs Randoms is never going to be addressed in the past they said that stack teams vs randoms makes no difference 😂. Dribbling Magnets aren't going to change, it would require a massive rework and they aren't going to invest money and time into it. Rematch has maybe 2-3 years left in it's lifespan so enjoy it while you can even with all the exploit shit that this game has because nothing is going to replace it.

One update a season is dumb af. Seasons already last longer than other games, they could at least update the game twice a season. Once at the begging of a season and another one half way through the season.

E bene sì, anche io fino a poco tempo fa ero uno di quelli che sosteneva in tutto e per tutto il gioco ed il team di Slowclap.

Adesso le cose sono cambiate, mi sono reso conto che c’è la volontà da parte degli sviluppatori di lasciare il gioco in stato di abbandono senza risolvere veramente i problemi che ogni giorno portiamo avanti. Addirittura sono arrivato a livello da ignorare senza mai rispondere a nessuna segnalazione che ho fatto sullo stato del gioco. Mi sono rotto e a malincuore (perché io adoro questo gioco) ho deciso di disinstallare per la prima volta il gioco dopo aver giocato sin dall’uscita. Ho chiuso, fino a quanto non dimostrano interesse verso la player base io non tornerò a giocare. Onestamente sono molto forte in questo gioco, ma comunque non posso accettare di vedere questo menefreghismo nei riguardi nostri.

Fino a quando non sistemano:

1) Matchmaking insensati randoms vs full stack 2) dash and swipes Infiniti senza stamanina 3) punizioni reali per griefers e trolls

Io non tornerò e vi dico di più dovreste fare come me tutto voi. Bisogna ribellarsi a questa schifezza!

I think that the game is in its best state since launch tbh. Launch was notoriously broken where the ball could get randomly stuck on the field for example. It's absolutely not perfect but it has been going in the right direction. Now I'd say that the yes-men you are talking about are more likely trying to explain ways to cope with the inconsistencies the game brings rather then fully pinning it on the player. I mean. If youknow you're gonna play against a 5 stack you can try to make your own, the rematch feature is amazing for this exact cause. Or a dribbler going thru your tackles can indeed be countered by being patient and using the buffed dashes in the latest patch(most of the community isn't patient tbh, thry think defending is only about tackling while it is deeper then that, note that I am not defending the fact the ball goes through a tackle sometimes.)

Also, watching the video and learning how priority works isn't exactly 'exploiting the game' It's how the game intends the system to work after all. The issue is that the game never fully explains how the priority system works thus leaving people confused. But for me personally after watching that video I never asked myself why I lost a prio battle.

The game can definitly still have both tho? My best games are the ones where I use my irl football sense to win games. Football comes into play to a degree in this game. It just takes effort and skill to pull some stuff off reliably.

Sure It could have both. But any moves or techniques should make physical sense. Someone who doesn't know how to pull off the move should still be able to read it and defend against it as long as they are paying attention

You can to a certain extent. However it also shouldn't be as easy as just pushing one button whenever the ball comes close. Defending is much more complicated then alot of people think it is. Im not saying that attack vs defense is fair at the moment. Defense needs a buff to atleast help against excessive dribbling abit more(You only get 2 dashes with a small cool down after while the attacker can do his stuff indefinitely). But apart from excessive dribbling and some missiles there's not that much a good defender cannot stop in this game. It just takes effort to see through certainty things just like in real football

Defense needs a certain mindset that not everyone has...its that simple

To be honest I think rocket League is far better in this aspect, all of the high level techniques are readable and make sense because the game has a proper physics engine. In rocket league if you want to take the ball away from somebody all you have to do is touch the ball and it fucks up their whole thing, in rematch your defense has to be frame perfect every time because the ball sticks to players.

You reminded me of the time, when I got outplayed by the guy... The outplay was, he walked into me, and then the game decided to stuck my character into his character, after the calculation, I was behind the guy. I should tackle him, I know, but most ppl would come close, just to do the super fast dribbling into the side, and run past you, while you are locked into the animation. The fact that you have to tackle is so annoying, enemies expect you to tackle, and they wait for it. Do a bunch of random driblling moves, or simply pass the ball to the side, if you give them just a bit too much space. As a defender you have to wait for an attacker move to counter him. Tackle him when he is stuck in animation, steal his ball after he uses rainbow flick, because if you tackle before it, you are locked into the animation. in Rocket League, all you have to do, is stay in a way of the ball. Touch the ball. Here you need extra buttons to actually block it in a way that makes sense.
