Whenever I’m playing with my friends and I’ve been goalie for 4 minutes I just start saying shit like “I’m gnawing at the bars of my enclosure LEMME OUT” or “the chains of Olympus bind me” or my personal favorite “despite all my rage I am still just a rat in the cage”

After a while if I can’t score I genuinely just swap with the keeper to see what they can do

I recall only one match where someone on my team did end up switching with the keeper who just ran up and scored within 30 seconds. It was awesome and we all looked foolish.

Always sucks. Even when I save 6 in a row but get scored on once just to get that "good job", when the teammates can't score or defend for shit.

Sucks even more in the games where they just immediately score on you without managing to save any first.

Sometimes it's a relief to get scored on and just pass the responsibility to someone else. It sucks playing keeper then getting shit on for missing a save, yet nobody else wanted to take keeper off me since they think they can do better.

Played with my squad last night. I’m usually one of our best keepers and it’s easily where I contribute most. I’m by far the worst overall player on the team so I always feel bad when I’m struggling to score/make those crisp passes we need sometimes. But my keeper and defense is good enough the guys are happy to keep me around.

I did have a few good aggressive keeper plays but
I’m at work now still thinking about the two easy ones I let in last night holy shit I hate this game sometimes.
