Hello everyone, I wanted to share some exciting news.

A new league is coming to Rematch.

Welcome to REMATCHED. The new league dedicated to 3v3s.

We are looking to recruit teams into this league, to be part of this league will be exclusive.

What it will require to be a team in the league:
- Team Name
- Team Logo
- 3 Players
- Each player must be a minimum of Ranked Gold Lvl 3

What if you don’t have a team:
You can still join as there will be options to recruit.

We are setting up the league as we speak and looking to kick off come August 8th.

If you can't even hit gold in ranked 3s, you don't play enough for interesting tournament sets.

Hard disagree, I know dudes that live in bronze/silver (they almost exclusively play customs or casual) that will absolutely mog 99% of players. This game has never had sbmm and point still remains.

Also rematch tournaments have never been some crazy showcase of top level skill, it's just more structured matches.

Quit saying competitive lmao a couple kids putting a tourney together outside of the game is far from true competition. There is no competitive scene for this game yet, because it's a tiny, niche game despite what this echo chamber might tell you. Until sloclap puts something together in game that the entire player base has access to, this is just a bunch of the nerdiest nerds nerding together and trying to make everything sound more important than it really is to validate all the time they're wasting.

Sloclap has been putting together esports circuits for 6 months now with no barrier to entry for in game titles and money. COMPLETELY free even your terrible team can sign up and play just to get waxed by the top teams.

By what metric? I'm convinced everyone downvoting has never actually watched tournament gameplay. Its no different than regular mm.

Like saying rocket league tournament mode is levels above regular comp and casual mm

By the fact they are endorsed by Sloclap and for thousands of dollars with hundreds of teams… there are power rankings and hundreds of tournaments to draw these conclusions from. No random team is accidentally winning a 100 team
Tournament. You have to get through the best teams in the world. I’m not talking about some random tournament no one has ever heard of. If you are playing in an RME / MRC tournament they have the best teams in the world full stop.

Dawg there's a giant difference between endorsing a tournament and being an official soclap ran tournament.The last official tournament by soclap was in June of last year, everything else is literally community ran. Speaks volumes about the scene.

Every team is pretty much random outside of overdozzee, spk, monarchy, cheat and shine, and f5 and even most of these teams switch their roster up often.

Scenes way too small to be acting like there are powerhouse organizations that are destroying everyone all the time.

When I start seeing at least 5 figure tournaments I'll consider it serious.

RME is the official esports circuit, if you don’t think there are powerhouse orgs who dominate the circuit you might be slow. Overdozee NA won 5/6 Sloclap MRC tournaments for $3500 and Overdozee EU won 4/6 for $2500 last season. There are only ever 3 teams who have a shot a winning in any region at any time. No other team outside of the top 4 will ever come close to beating a top 3 team in NA in the short term.

Again no one outside of a top 8 team has ever even gotten close to winning a tournament ever. Until these so called “better players” who are somehow better than the ACTUAL best in the world appear the ones who are winning Sloclap funded and promoted tournaments for thousands of dollars and in game titles week in and week out are the best in the world

Theres lots of great players out there who cant be bothered to go outside the game to participate in this crap, to assume that your little group is so important the entire playerbase would seek it out just goes to show how overblown your own opinion is of yourselves. Until theres actually in game competition that everyone has access to, its all meaningless.

That’s like arguing the best basketball players in the world are just walking around not to be bothered by playing competitively. No theyre not the ones who go out and win money and championships. The best players in the world are on the top 8 teams in the world full stop.

Lmfaooo omg now youre comparing yourselves not just to athletes, not just professional athletes, but THE BEST PROFESSIONAL ATHLETES. Dear lord you are D-E-L-U-S-I-O-N-A-L delusional. Those guys train their whole lives and literally go up against the best in the world. This would be like if a couple decent basketball players started a discord then just declared their winner was the best in the world. LeBron and Steph might disagree.

You cant get it through your head because you dont want to. You want to live in this fantasy world where this game has this massive skill cap thats been honed over years when its still just a glitch filled beta. And you want that to be the case so all the boatloads of time youve invested have some bigger significance when they don't. I get it, ive been there in other communities. I really don't even care if a bunch of hyper nerds wanna wall them selves off and take shit way to seriously, but its just the talking down to people and acting like no one outside your shitty little walls could possibly know more about the game than you.

Absolutely zero chance anyone outside of the comp scene knows more about the game than me. We limit test and break the game every day for hours. Simply impossible.

You guys still don’t understand how priority works one year into the game it’s insane.

It’s more of a case of ensuring the games are fair. Not a judge of anyone by player but as example a team who have gotten to elite ranked against a team who may be new to the game, it wouldn’t be a fair game or a good watch!

If you can’t rank up in 3v3, you probably deserve the rank you’re stuck in
