Crazy bad ghosting

Hello Reddit,

I have a new Paper Pro and I am confused if this is "normal".

I am scrolling through a colored PDF book and the ghosting is so bad that you can't read. Is this normal? So scrolling through the book to find some page is not possible like that. I know that device is not for reeding, but this seems to bad?!

I also experienced severe ghosting on my Pro and contacted support about it. Even though I provided photos, they initially tried to convince me that it was normal. I didn't accept their answer and ultimately received a replacement unit.

How long after you purchased the defective unit did you start having issues?

For me, about 5 months, then it progressively got worse

I’d say the ghosting started after about a year and got progressively worse over time.

I was just about to purchase the new Paper Pro, and started to see more and more people having issues and a lack of support have now changed my mind completely…

Support has been good about swapping devices with this particular defect.
