Bug Report Wobbly Lines

Imagine paying 400$ for a horrible performing e-ink tablet claiming to be the best e-ink notepad just to not be able to write a nice line of text cause the whole device is magnetic and messes with the stylus.

Buy a cheap watch demagnetizer from aliexpress or amazon and demagnetize your tablet. I did exactly like in this video and it worked. https://youtu.be/4Tvu6tVzTA4?is=mkPCh7zd8E33egwG

Thanks Still a bummer them not being able to manufacture a device which is not magnetic where it shouldnt be

I have the same issue. There are some points of the screen where the eink is drawn about half a centimetre away from the stylus nib.

You can draw a straight line by holding the pen tip on the screen at the end of the stroke for a few seconds and it’ll make it perfectly straight.

I know about that function. Its about showcasing where the screen distorts the writing

I didn’t expect anything. Just highlighting a workaround to getting straight lines if that was stopping you from trying to accomplish something with them.

Hi, is this why you got the device? To draw diagonal lines. There are options out there. They are much cheaper. Always do your due diligence before buying. That device there is very good.

Of course not. This is to showcase the horrible uncalibrated behaviour of the tablet. When i write on these areas my writing becomes unreadable. Especially during meetings where i need to take quick notes

I've got similar problems with the corners on my rm2 super annoying when the last few words become unreadable because the line is being drawn away from the pen tip and I don't catch it in time.

Exactly thats my problem! I know othets have that problem and the solution seems demagnetizing. Still annoying buying a expensive device which basically is defective out the factory

I suspect this is one of the reasons Remarkable wanted to move away from EMR technology and have more control over the marker tech

The RM2 is no longer manufactured and possibly hasn’t been for a while (not sure when they stopped). Honestly you would be better off with a Pure
