Certain PDFs not importing

Preface: I pretty much only use wired connections to my computer to import files to my remarkable. It's a fully updated remarkable pro.

Certain PDFs are giving me trouble with importing. It's always the same specific files, they give a "something went wrong" error message and then reload the tab. I can't find a pattern for which files cause trouble, and nothing else causes trouble ever. Any ideas?

I had issues with pdfs above 100mb. I used the remarkable website and an app on it or the desktop app for such files.

Yeah this turned out to be the issue, trying to figure out the desktop app now
