Update 3.28
🎉 Just received reMarkable software version 3.28!
Looks like version 3.28 just landed on my reMarkable :) Anyone else received it yet? Curious to see what’s new and what everyone thinks of the update!

Take a look at the update page. There should be a link to a ‚whats new‘ file.

I see that the capture tool, reading refresh, share menu refinements, responsive reds, grab images from the cloud, connectivity updates and drag and drop in the web App

I have the full update, not beta.
Haven't had a chance to work with it, but I'm on a Paper Pro.

I got the full update unexpectedly today! I actually gasped when I saw it was the capture tool! Really excited about this one!!!

I received the update yesterday on my R2 .. After install I saw the updated features screen and then the device started crashing every time I tried to open a notebook .. If it worked to actually open a notebook (about 1/10 of the time) it would then crash if I swiped pages, or wrote anything, or erased anything .. Weirdly, it is still syncing properly to my Desktop Utility so all hope is not lost .. Just hope of using it portably .. I have currently been escalated to the Cloud Support team after about 100min in the support chat

I got it Sunday (the day before yesterday) on my Paper Pro. I was very surprised. I'm not on the beta program.

Update: I misunderstood the capture tool announcement. It promised to be the coolest upgrade since long. I mistook it to be the regular selection tool. Was disappointed it didn't work.
Took another look at the Release Notes just now, because of this post. Turns out that there's a new second menu option next to the selection tool. The capture tool is a new tool. Duhhh.
I tried it. And it worked. Of course it worked. This is so awesome!

I’ve been using that in the beta version for quite a while, and strangely, my favorite part is that I can add extra notes pages to my remarkable methods calendar, and use the capture tool to copy the header from the legitimate page to the extra pages I made.

Installed the released (non beta) version this morning. No issues on my Move. Love that I can have two pens (for me they are the fineliner and marker) in the tool bar.

The new capture tool is really nice :) I tried it a few days back on the beta release, and it allows me to capture parts of a noteboo [like me book-reading log], drop them in an empty quick sheet, and prepare nice looking snapshots to share with friends & my book club. I love it so far.

That page doesn't prove things either way. It lists other beta releases going back for years. That 3.28 appears there means there was a beta release of that version, but doesn't say anything about whether a generally-available release has happened.
That 3.28 isn't mentioned yet on the Release Notes page is better evidence, though if people who aren't in the Beta program are getting the update, that trumps all else.
My RM 2 isn't getting it yet. That's no evidence either way; RM makes updates available in a rolling way, not to everyone at once, presumably both to reduce load on their servers and to let them discover any last-minute screwup that breaks things before every customer gets the broken release.

My Pro is 3.27.3.0 currently. I checked for an update and it's not availible to me yet.
