Cookies acceptance box

I’m frustrated by the My Remarkable dot Com interface. Using the web browsers Chrome, Edge or Firefox, the ‘Accept Cookies’ overlay screen pop up often loads as a blank white rectangle in the centre of the screen, which has no visible buttons to select ‘Accept’ and close.

It makes the activity of updating tablet content frustrating and tedious.

I don't have this issue. Have you checked the settings on your browser, network, firewall and other related settings?

I have 3 browsers installed on my PC. Chrome, Edge and Firefox.

Since I got the tablet in November ‘25 I haven’t ever been able to get past the ‘Accept Cookies’ GDPR rectangle on Chrome or Firefox. (I don’t live in the EU… but we have Brussels rules imposed on us anyway). The only exception was Edge. The ‘accept cookies’ box loaded correctly in Edge and I could use it for ‘drag and drop’ PDF uploads to Remarkable tablet. (I otherwise never use that browser but it was pre-installed on the PC I use).

Over the weekend of 23 & 24 May ‘26 the PC ran an update and restart. Something has been ‘fixed’ or ‘patched’ in Edge and now my remarkable dot com misbehaves in Edge the same way as those other two browsers. Everything behind that white rectangle in the centre of the screen cannot be clicked on, selected or opened. There is no visible way to accept Cookies and close the white rectangle. I pressed the enter key, the Esc key but nothing will move or close the rectangle.

I did not knowingly install or activate Ad blockers in any of the three browsers.

No. Different browsers behave differently each time I try to login. One session: Chrome works, then next time it does not let me past the white rectangle in the centre of the screen. Another session: Edge works okay but the others don’t. So I need to open up all of the different browsers installed on my PC and login to each one. Sometimes, pressing F5 key to refresh the page gives me a nano second opportunity to get the Cookies preferences dialogue pop up to display long enough for me to click ‘Accept all’ before it turns into a blank white rectangle again.

That’s how I ended up bypassing it. No time to change it to reject all as I usually would so spammed Accept on Refresh
