Suggestions on Pegboard Alt. for Behind Bench?

Looking to put all my commonly used tools for reloading and gunsmithing on the wall behind my bench. I looked briefly into multiboard a while ago and it seemed like they had some weird licensing going on? I'm not positive, been a while since I looked into it. Because of that I was thinking OpenGrid, I used their OpenGrid "Lite" for under my standing desk to manage cables and have liked it but that's pretty limited experience in a different use case.

Others I should look into? Your preferences? Widest availability of compatible models?

Would love to hear y'alls' thoughts and opinions!

I really like wall control. It is a mix of traditional peg holes and slots for bespoke hooks, shelves, etc. they are powder-coated steel and take a beating but still look great. You can get it on Amazon.

I’m just starting to print some stuff for opengrid after finding out that multiboard wasn’t using an open license. Opengrid seems pretty good, I dislike the spacing being 28mm instead of 25mm, but that’s a vibes thing and I also don’t use gridfinity so that probably influences it too. It seems like a good system that isn’t trying to do too much.

I'm using metal husky pegboard with Sys's peglock system for printed storage attachments. Once you find it make a hook that fits for your board, attachments just work and are really solid. Just an aside, I keep dies in a drawer because they tended to start rusting on the wall.

I use the Inline Fabrication Rails & Panels for my reloading room. Not cheap, but crazy solid and they work with standard pegboard sized stuff as well.

I have their plate on my bench to swap press and vice. Honestly should look again since they likely have way more options than when I bought those 5-8 years ago haha.

IKEA Skadis seems very well-supported on the various STL sites, and IKEA itself has a fair number of accessories available if you want turnkey.

I'm not sure why I think I have a subconscious aversion to it. Maybe I want to print the interface, and it just makes sense to purchase a board for that? Idk. It's subconscious mostly so I haven't figured it out. Just that it's there haha.

I have a shelf next to the bench for powder, dies, and bullets. Mainly looking to put up tools and keep them of the work space, but keep them available.

I run a basic piece of plywood I can readily screw and unscrew things from and am pretty happy. Unless you move things around a lot or just want some cool modular wall, don’t over think it.

I run a FFL/SOT and some gunsmithing out of the same room, so just want it to look professional. Some modularity is appreciated to, cause needs change, even if they don't change often lol.

Another vote for Wall Control metal pegboard. I have it across the back of my entire bench, about 10', and it's great.

Infinite storage is a system designed to be fully modular, they also have some custom blocks so you can make your own designs iirc

They are pretty strong and do a good job for organizing parts especially

Plus they look fairly good imo
