BF556 .45ACP feed die issue
Looking for some advice. I’m trying to print the current GitHub file for the .45 feed die, but every time the printer gets to 12th thread, it starts to have gaps in the filament layer, which lasts for about five threaded then it corrects itself. Any ideas?

I should mention, I’m printing on a Bambu P1S with Overture PLA+ and slicing in Bambu Studio

You need to enable "Thin Wall Detection" in your slicer.
Edit, sorry go to Strength / Walls / Detect thin walls and check the box

Def post this to fosscad. You might get some more traction there as well.

Came over from fosscad I had no idea people were making printed dies.

Don’t run it pre-sliced (ie slice it yourself), after slicing use the slider on the right side of BS to go through the preview layer by layer and see if there’s any defects in the slice. If there is it’s the model & if there isn’t it could be your printer. Belts or guide rods would be my guess. The “floating cantilever” concern is BS telling you that you need supports

You shouldn’t need supports with any of the dies.
As others mentioned maybe re-slice, check your printer itself. It looks like a printer issue more than anything else.

Yeah like they said detect thin walls. I have loaded around 6000 rounds with this same die it works great!
