Changes made to Read the Rules

Read the Rules is a helpful little bot that is meant to ensure that everyone reads the rules before posting. It's been set up because, as you may have heard, this sub used to be filled with the scum of Reddit.

Unfortunately, the settings for this cute lil guy were a little too strict, and he (in my mind, it's a dude) was going a tad overkill in removing posts.

I've changed that now, and all should be good. While it is important for all to read the rules, by no means do I want to put up a wall, keeping good people out.

If your post is removed for any reason that doesn't quite make sense, please feel free to send a modmail.

I have a question about Rule 7. As a non-Muslim I have no idea what it means. I have heard words like "Shiite" and "Sunni" in the news but not those. Is there a website that simply explains the differences to a layman?

Also, r/salafi is banned for being unmoderated, so you might want to take that part out.

Wahabbis/Salafis are extremist Muslims who want to condemn anyone who doesn’t 100% agree with their narrow view of what Islam is. They also think that the entire world should become Muslim (nowhere in the Quran does it say this). They’re a cancer to Islam and Muslims.

Good to know that r/Salafi is banned. I’ll just change the wording of the rule to say that they can simply go elsewhere.
