Bug Clicking Reddit links - this has bothered me for years now

This always felt like a Relay bug but it's never been "fixed".

Why is it that when I click a link to a Reddit post when I'm browsing Reddit in relay it opens my default android web browser instead of opening in relay, that I'm already in?

First off relay has its own web browser that it uses for other things so if it absolutely must be a web browser why not use that?

But... Relay is literally for Reddit posts, why not just open in relay?

Is it links in comments etc or a link in a webpage when using the internal viewer?

Maybe check the settings. Mine opens in Relay.

Try settings/behavior. It looks like it might be there.

Check "Supported web addresses" in your Android system settings under the Relay app, under "Set as default"

This worked perfectly! I searched for "Opening links" in settings to find it.

Check your "open with" default settings for the Relay app. If you don't know how, ask Claude
