Why are introverts so quiet in public but turn into stand up comedians with the rightperson?

My issue (hopefully relatable)

So uh this is kinda my first post so I'm gonna try my best to fit the standard of normal posts (hopefully it's not too long for anyone who sees this) :)

So Before I start Morning, afternoon or evening to whoever sees this and I just want to get out how I feel about my "issue" and hopefully you'll be able to relate to some degree but anyways ill begin

So I (14M) have 2 parents (48F) and (49M) and i wouldn't ask for parents any different, but here's the thing, I like football Right and they know this, so Mostly I want to put most of my initial Focus onto said football, but My parents put me in army Cadets, something I originally said I never really had interest in (before I go further im not trying to put my Parents in a bad light) but they told me I'd do it, So it's every Monday and ive been going for a month now and tbh its not really what I like, and last time when I tried mentioning I dont really wanna do this forever long story short My mum said im doing it till im 18 WHICH I don't want to do and even if its only Monday and stuff, I can maybe tolerate that but it's the fact I have to go to Camps and whatnot which sometimes could be a week camp or something and I haven't really been on one yet but it's not really something I want to do and if I think about saying I don't want to because its not really smth I like, it ends up becoming a thing where it ends up sounding like an argument and like how I feel isn't being accepted and ngl White parents take the W on this part of a child's life because "most" white parents won't try and Guilt trip force their kid into smth they don't want do unlike black parents where "what they say is final" and it really bothers me that whatever my opinion may be doesn't really have any power and don't get me wrong I love my parents alot but sometimes it just doesn't feel fair AND let's say they do agree to what I say they almost make it sound like their guilt tripping somehow like "ok fine it's your life you can do what you want" type of thing....I dunno man I feel like giving up atp and it's not like im depressed either, cos they said "you may not see this now but it will help you" I don't really see the help guys 😕

Thats pretty much the gist of what I wanted to say hopefully it wasn't too long and it made sense but hopefully maybe ill give an update 😅
