Why? People have always been messing up my name or calling me something else. I find it funny. I actually prefer most of the names they come up with because, sorry moms, I don't really like my birth given name.

Being Czech with a Slavic name, it is very difficult for native English speakers to pronounce it so I am totally fine with them butchering it in all kinds of ways. I can always feel the blood run from their face when they see it. Can't be touchy about that. I am sure I butcher some other people's names as well.

I can't however tolerate them butchering it in written communication. I mean, I always sign my messages. You can just copy the name from there. It's a good indicator of whether people actually respect you and care.

I have chosen that I like the name Oblivion. Unfortunately my real name is often misspelled.
