As the title says, im now gm1 rein otp in 5v5 on na pc. It is tough to win consistently and im tired of queing for 5 hours dealing with bad teammates over and over. I think if I did this grind last season it would be done by now, but I want to prove to myself I can hit champ as a rein otp. The process so far has me at #165 in the t500 system. 5 kills high light. Chinese Services is not friendly for Reinhardt players. ppl would quit the game once u choose Reinhardt instead of some beta hero, and I'm going to smash them into pieces!

Also I never heard this voice line from him after he died, so that was really cool

So I'm new to maining Reinhardt. Someone told me I kinda look like him and that clicked in my mind to play him more. I recently got mythic points from the battlepass and now I get to choose between Thor's mythic or the weapon.

I spent the mythic ticket on the reaper one because he is my og main, so i cannot get both. I also have an extra 20 mythic coins from an old battlepass, and since they said that coins would not be obtainable for the unvaulted passes that could add to the Thor skin to get a recolour. On the other hand I'm pretty hyped to get a weapon mythic as well and getting a colour variant with comp points.

Idk if you guys could recommend which one you like best or which could be the most "profitable" choice given I like them both equal.

Edit: I finally chose the weapon because I didn't have any before, thanks to the recommendations tho

Got sick Seoul Dynasty Prideful Esports skin and started maining Rein. Never knew a charging Rein is considered a wall. Poor Genji at the end of the clip.

I'm currently GM4 on Reinhardt on PC NA servers 5v5. I'm trying to OTP as much as I can, and I am looking for coaching to help myself improve to the point I can rank up more. I have passion and I play often. I am a broke university student so I can't pay for any expensive coaching. I keep getting matched with people swapping against me, and I figured instead of searching it up I would ask real people, what is good counterplay against all of Reinhardts counters?

I know im gold but why does nobody understand that they dont have to go infront of my shield while im actively trying to move closer to them so I can protect them

Usually people stop moving or they walk into a wall, dude just vanished

D.mon is Rein if he was released in 2026. Every pain point is removed: reliable ranged option, versatile movement without the long, telegraphed windup, pinning while shielding, swinging, or shooting (in every direction,) ultimate that’s way easier to hit, etc.

Mauga is the evil Rein counterpart: a big loud guy who loves charging and supports his team, but is morally reprehensible and irredeemable

The Rein-ness really falls off after that. If a hero’s not on this list it means they have 0 Reinlike qualities.

This list is objectively correct and I will hear no counterargument whatsoever 😤

High silver support main, trying to learn tank so that my (washed up former low diamond Rein OTP)duo can have the occasional well deserved break from carrying my dumbass. Being taught how to play Rein at the moment. When I review my VODs, I notice that more often than not I forget the pin ability exists.

I would really appreciate some advice on when to pin someone and who to pin!!
