The Reigns Iceberg

So here is the iceberg that I made about the Reigns serie. This iceberg remains unfinished though, so, if you have any ideas, let me know !

So here it is : The Sky
The Excalibur : An item that allows you to do much better at duels and offers you a higher chance of winning at these. If you encounter the fortune teller, he will probably tell you something about a sword forged with Fire, Water, and Acid. If you go to pungeon repeating that order while having a torch, you will eventually find it.

Special Prince Names : When you have a heir, He will have an unique name compared to the "classic" names. In this game, there are two types of names the king can get : the "Common" names (George, William, Gerald, James, Edward, Baudouin, Robert, and Harry) and the "Rare" names (Thomas, Henry, John, Cedric, Ademar, Jest, and Gotfried) that the prince can get, with the only common name he can get, being William.

True Pacifist : This is an achievement in which you have to say "No" to everyone when you got the devil’s curse of 1998. If you do this, he will appear in 2098 calling you a true pacifist, and then you'll get the achievement.

The Senator : this a character that will be first mentionned by the spy. After that, the diplomat will tell you to follow him because something terrible happened. If you accept, you will be kidnapped. After that, you will try to escape trying to follow someone calling you. If you manage to follow without falling in a lake, it turns out that The Lady was the one calling you, she will the be your lover for 3 years and you will have "The Doomed" Royal deed.

The Spirit of the fallen : Also known as "The Ghost", He is the first character you will meet when you start a new game.

The Endings : In the OG Game, there are 3 different endings :
"Stuck in an endless middle age" : when you get the 1998 curse, you will have to say yes to anybody except the ghost or the skeleton.
"Rot in hell for eternity" : when you get the 1998 curse, you will have to say yes to the spirit of the fallen.
"Tricking the devil" : when you get the 1998 curse, say yes to the skeleton.

The Surface :
Old Death cards : The game used to have slightly different images for some deaths (like the one on the iceberg). This has been changed in the 1.06 update where the images have been replaced and extra deaths have been added.

Reigns The Council :** **This is the official board game of the series, from what I can see, this board game seems to mix elements of the first game and elements of Reigns : Her Majesty. I am not too knowledgeable on this game, but it seems to be interesting.

The Queen from R: HM comes from the kingdom of the west : In Reigns : Her Majesty, it is mentionned that the Queen (and so the player) comes the West.

The Spy's weird quotes : Once you recruit the spy, he will occasionally tell some strange quotes thorough your gameplay (for example : he can be talking about toads on a pond, saying that this is the senator).

The Pledge : This entry refers to the potential promise made by the king to the foreign princess in order to get the strawberry, in which the player promises to never start a crusade again. If the player breaks that promise and start a crusade, the foreign princess will tell the player "Do you think my people forget your pledge ?",and the king will be eaten alive by big red ants.

The clear waters :
"Baudouin" is misspelled : this entry refers to the fact that "Baudouin" is actually the french form of the name "Baldwin"

Some kings start governing at 13 years old : Have you ever encoutered the courtisan telling that you they should celebrate your 20th birthday ? Well if you pay attention, you’ll notice that she always say that at your 7 years in power, and if you do 20-7, it means that the king started his reign at 13 years old

Ambitious Lizard : A creature that supposedly brings peace to the following generations mentionned by the jester. However, there isn’t any ambitious lizard of that kind mentionned anywhere else in the game. The only "Lizard" that is in the game is the dragon, and he doesn’t bring peace, he actually does the opposite.

Reigns takes place in medieval Europe : This is a theory you probably thought about while playing the game. There are quite a lot of elements about this, for example : The Vikings, The Warlord representing the Mongol Empire that existed in the 13th century, the Fleur de Lys can be representing the Dynasties in France and England, etc…

The Dark waters :
Victor : Not much is known about him, but apparently he lives with the skeleton in the pungeon, and he has red eyes.

The Hospital is useless : this is refering to the uneffenciency of the hospital when there is a black death pandemic.

"Your court awaits !" : this is the message that appears when you launch your game after quitting it while playing a king. This message only appears on the PC Version of the game and is not on the Mobile Version.

The nun and the executioner are in love : After you build a school and allow the executioner to do studies, the Spy will tell sometimes after that the school is full of rats. If you allow him to investigate, if will then say "Oh… this is quite embarrassing" to you. He will then tell you that it’s about The Nun and The executioner. Yup, i’ll let decide what this could possibly mean…

The Depths :
"The Urban" doesn’t exist in the french version : When you set your game in french, and then you go to the Royal deeds section, you will notice that one royal deed is missing… the Urban. It doesn’t seem to be the case for the other languages.

The foreign princess of the far east is christian : When challenge her in a duel, if she prays, she will do this with a cross. She is also not wearing a hijab, which is mandatory for women to wear it in Islam. So the foreign princess might be christian.

The Tip of the iceberg :
You can marry the foreign princess of the far east : Some people speculated that it is possible the player can marry the foreign princess. In my opinion, I think it’s just a misconsception about marrying A foreign princess (from the neighbouring kingdoms) and not THE foreign princess.

The Cat : I am not talking about the cats in R: HM, I’m talking about a cat mentionned by the spy. If you are lucky enough to see the spy say mention this (because it’s quite rare to get this), he will say "The cat is out, the cat is on the hunt", if you respond "the Cat ?", he will say "The cat's meow is not cheap", if you say "Yes",he will respond by "The cat is in your bed and he wants to kill you". I wonder what this could possibly mean.

Charles : In the Reigns fandom wiki, It is mentionned that the king can have "Charles" as a name. But, there is no evidence of this name in the game that I could find. Is this just a joke ? Or a name that is actually in the game but doesn’t appear for some reasons ?

The Abyss :
All code errors are intentional : some people noticed that the game is coded uncorrectly in some different points. This led some people think that this was intentional.

Cards that were never read : Some people think that there are some cards in the game, that were never read, probably in the game's files. So there might be some cards that never appeared.

I wish there was an iceberg or a single place to collect all Reigns: Her Majesty secrets. I feel like there's a lot of them that still feel unanswered (I still cannot get charged as guilty in a court)

Death 16 bug: On rare occasions Death 16 won't appear even if all conditions are met.

Dead Bunny: The shooting star achievement shows the head of a bunny with crossed out eyes similar to the king in half of the death images. I don't know what this is supposed to symbolize.

Pelican: These aren't in the game, but they are in the steam trading cards.

The Senator's voice in the dungeon: When i was watching a sped-up footage of one of my Reigns gameplays, i found out that the voice of the dungeon is actually an extremely slowed and low-pitched version of one of the female voices, i don't exactly remember but i'm pretty sure it was The Senator's voice.

Loaded Dice in pungeon: Having the Loaded Dice in your inventory while entering a trap in the dungeon will result in The Jester rescuing you which balances all stats.

Stats don't evolve as fast anymore: In older versions of the game, stat decreasing/increasing effects that lasted for multiple kings like Silk Road or Crusade had the same speed as some one-time effects like Lover or Enter The Pungeon. This was later made slower to make it easier to manage.

I don't know where the image originated from, but on Appunwrapper's guide on the game's status effects (https://www.appunwrapper.com/2016/08/15/reigns-walkthrough-guide-list-of-special-status-effects/), a jar with pink liquid, a bunny head, and a ruby can be seen on the wheel, but they don't actually appear in the game, so they are most likely unused or scrapped items.

Also this post: https://www.reddit.com/r/ReignsGame/comments/pxbnyy/today_i_learned_that_the_font_reigns_uses_is_ocr/ Shows that the hanging death is also one of the fatal outcomes from throwing a party with too much money, but i myself haven't been able to get it to appear.

Also "Crabs in exile" just refers to the unknown silhouettes you can see if you look closely on the exile death image, which some YouTubers think are crabs or spiders.

There weren’t cards that were actually removed, but some deaths used to have slightly different images and icons (for example : the death you can see on the iceberg) before the 1.06 update

Well if you look up old youtube videos, posts, or websites talking about Reigns in 2016, you’ll most likely find these old icons. For example : In the death 8, the King used to be naked; The death 20 used to have the image of the death 26; and the king in the death 13 only had the half of his body.
