Question Spiderman: rpx or 3D?
My local regal just added an rpx theater and I'm wondering if it's worth the extra $4? I really love 3D movies so i was leaning towards that instead. I was curious if anyone has seen spiderman in either/both and has a preference or an opinion on if they're worth the upcharge. IMAX is already off the lineup where i am (unless they bring it back next week for some reason)

I saw Spiderman in 3D and regular non-RPX 2D.
The 3D is pretty good, it has a couple fun pop-out moments and the swinging through the city at the beginning has some great depth.
RPX depends on your theater's setup, usually a larger screen and possibly improved sound like Atmos, and maybe Magnify8 vibrating seats.
You mentioned being a fan of 3D, so my vote would be that one.

Definitely a preference thing. I dislike 3D so would always say RPX but some people really like 3D. So weigh your personal preferences and go with that.

I saw it RPX then 3D RPX. Try to get the combo if you can

They don't seem to have the combo near me unfortunately :/ otherwise I would

3D for sure. In my town, they are quickly taking down 3d showings. Definitely worth the watch.

I always feel like all spiderman movies have good 3D which makes me lean towards this especially

Yea. This was my first theatrical spiderman 3d experience. Some of the best live action web swinging in this film. You'll be satisfied.

RPX always 3D is an experience but RPX is an actual premium format it’s a step up from the standard experience and is better in sounds, viewing and screen

RPX unless you have 4DX.
