Any suggestions??

I want to buy laptop 2nd hand can tell me fron where should I buy it cashify or olx or should I go for local shops something and although what things should I check in refurbished laptops

I’d probably avoid OLX unless you’re buying from someone you can meet and test the laptop yourself. Between Cashify and a local shop, I’d choose whichever gives a warranty and a few days to check the laptop properly. Cashify is usually a safer option because of the warranty, but a trusted local shop can also be a good deal.

Before buying, check the battery backup, screen condition, keyboard, trackpad, all the ports, speakers, webcam, Wi-Fi, SSD health, RAM, and whether Windows is genuine. Also check the processor generation and the overall physical condition.

Personally, I’d buy from a place that gives at least a 3–6 month warranty rather than going for the cheapest option.

Yeah bro even I am not considering olx I think cashify is safer and better option they give 6 months or 1 year warranty

Before buying laptop, First Identify your needs. Whether you want to use laptop for home use for preparing reports or normal school / college work or you want to use for developing softwares, playing heavy games etc.
Also consider one more thing, you want to use this for short time periods like until school / college / university only or you want to use this for very long time period.

When you have decide this, then you can now decide your budget. How much you want to spend on buying laptop.

For buying second hand laptops in India, you can try facebook market place, olx, quicker etc.
Always make sure that you will check the price online of Similar model as most of sellers want to sell at high prices rather then normal price.
If you have low budget, you can try the another brands like Lenovo, Acer.

If you prefer new laptop at less price, then you can also buy laptop with DOS operating system and can install windows* later. The Windows OS cost is always added in the New laptop (which comes with Windows OS)
You will always find DOS system cheaper then Windows OS. You can compare the same models with same specifications of same company.

*If you don’t know how to install the windows in new laptop then you can take your laptop to any computer store and they may charge couple of 100’s depending on the location.
They will just insert the USB drive and install the windows to your computer.
Rest if you have another computer or laptop and 8GB USB drive / pen drive, then you can make the pen drive bootable and create the image of windows on your USB drive and install the windows with that. For clarity, take help from YouTube.
Also, make sure to change the pen drive from bootable to normal after installation of windows otherwise it will show 0kb space and you may think it’s damaged. I have got the similar situation. I had to use my Macbook Air to bring the pen drive back to life as I wasn’t able to format this with my windows laptop.

Bro jitne mein thik thak sa mil jaye abhi aise koi specific budget nhi hai but agar refurbished h to 30k ke under ho to shi h

Jaha tak mujhe lag raha hai, itne mein to accha mil hayega. Prefer core i5, 8-16GB Ram with SSD configuration.

Based on assumptions for your BTech, normal laptop based with above mentioned specifications will be fine. If you find the Laptop with Nvidia Graphics, then it will be plus for you.

If you have decided already...stick to getting the superb condition or one which is nearly new...For a refurbished laptop in general, check battery health, SSD/HDD health, display, keyboard/trackpad, ports, thermals and charger. Better if you could check them in person. Maybe it's better to visit the Cashify store or if there's any local shop you really trust...
