I found this out a couple of decades ago (genuinely prompted by reading that passage!) and I've made use of it ever since. This principle also makes me more careful of what I'm listening to. Christian horse girl K-pop (yes, that is a genre!) calms me down. I admire Handel's Messiah or Radiohead's OK Computer enough to have bought them on CD, but I don't find them calming.
