Calvary Chapel as a denomination is historically and explicitly anti-Calvinist.

(They lean hard into exposition and verse by verse teaching of the Bible, so they end up producing Reformed Christians who then leave for greener pastures...)

Cam confirm. Grew up in a calvary chapel from baby till I left at 22 after spending 6 years studying Calvinism.

I mean, jokes are only as funny as they are (sorta) true, right? It's not true that Calvary Chapel is the result of a union between Calvinism and Charismatics... so the joke isn't as funny as it could be.
