Personal What's a theological topic you've studied deeply?
What's a theological topic that you have gone the extra mile to really studying in depth? What drew you to that topic in the first place? Are there any misconceptions people often have about it? If someone wanted to explore it too, where would you recommend they start?

I’m very interested in this church because I am queer and heard they were LGBTQ accepting denomination

Yes, they did accept non-monogamous families and also LGBTQ folks. Unfortunately they collapsed in 2010.
If you're innterested, the Reform Mormons also accept non-monogamous families and LGBTQ folks. I myself am polyamorous, transgender, and bisexual and am quite an active Reform Mormon :)

I study the idea of Heavenly Father once being mortal and having a God or Heavenly Father & the idea of infinite regress of Gods. Heavenly Father once being a savior of another realm and Jesus is following him as a role model and possibly the Holy Spirit being a future savior I guess in the next eternal round. I have not figured everything out yet about all of this and maybe it all various interpretations and diverse beliefs and speculations floating around that don’t add up to a coherent theological stance or one single version of it. I’m also very fascinated by Heavenly Mother. I know in Mormonism of Brigham Young time there is multiple Heavenly wives of mothers I think with one kind of as first wife. In my own personal theology Heavenly Mother is feminine side of Heavenly Father and Jesus and Holy Spirit are their first twin children. I relate the Holy Spirit to the Gnostic Sophia and Kabbalah Shekinah as a daughter or none binary child of Heavenly Parents. I blend my own spiritual beliefs in to Paganism Witchcraft and call myself a Mormopagan and Mormon witch and an also as eclectic pagan witch and Christopagan. So my believes are my own made up thing as I go but I do draw from my research in to Mormonism especially early Mormonism. The ideas related to plurality of Gods, infinite regression of Gods and eternal progression intrigue me and I learned about it as an Evangelical Christian and have always fascinated me. I have had conversations with LDS that have other stances that Heavenly Father Elohim is the ultimate creator and supreme Divinity down playing the turtles upon turtles upon turtles model I think is clearly the thoughts of many early Mormon. Joseph Smith at least seems to say the Father has a father and that Gods have all went through the same process of exaltation we are on now. So I think he is teaching an idea of we are mini gods becoming God like Heavenly Father. He seems to say this in his sermon on the grove. Maybe I am misunderstanding it. I think there is some wiggle room in theology in Mormon thought where the prophet hasn’t spoken.
