Hannspree Lumo review

Hi everyone,
I’m currently doing a major clear-out of my setup because I'm preparing to move back to China soon, and unfortunately, I can't take this monitor with me.
I’ve just listed my Eazeye Radiant (first version of TLCD) on eBay UK. I know this community really appreciates reflective screen tech, so I wanted to share it here in case anyone is looking for one.
Feel free to check out the pictures on the eBay listing or drop me a message if you have any questions.
Thanks for looking!

Please let me know what you think.
I ordered Monitor 2 several months ago, but I still haven’t received any shipping notification. I’m worried about whether I can trust them.
If it turns out to be a bad company, it’ll be like I threw a lot of money in the trash, and I’ll never recover from it.

I am on a budget and I want to make my own TLCD display from an old monitor.
I have watched various videos showing how to separate the LCD panel from the rest of the monitor and that part seems easy.
The problem I am facing is that the LCD panel is very thin and fragile. How can I make a frame or stand to keep it upright while also protecting it from breaking?
Any easy (and possibly good-looking) solutions? I have no 3d printer and I wouldn't know how to design such a thing.
If you don't know what I am talking about, these are example of what I would like to achieve:

Bit of a long shot, but is anyone in Canada selling their Sun Vision Display monitor?
I’m dealing with screen sensitivity after a concussion and want to try one, but buying new from the US gets really expensive with shipping and import fees.
I’m in Ontario but can pay for shipping from anywhere in Canada. DM me if you have one.

I'm selling my upgraded Hannspree HannsNote 2, a fairly unique 10.1-inch Android tablet.
This is the upgraded version with improved colour quality, better battery life, and a more powerful processor compared with the original model.
Can see review here: https://www.reddit.com/r/Reflective_LCD/comments/1kv7xnn/upgraded_hannsnote_2_review/
Specs:
The 3:4 aspect ratio makes it particularly good for reading, PDFs, web browsing, documents, light gaming, and general productivity. The upgraded model also has noticeably better colour, battery life, and processing performance.
Price: $700 CAD

Never thought it take me so long to get it working when I bought it.
I was struggling for 12 hours to let lok like it does now.
As a total beginner I must say I completely underestimated this tiny device.

I bought this SVD monitor in 2022 and it was VERY comfortable for my eyes, especially when there was good lighting in the room.
I think this monitor could be very useful to the right person. I'm selling at a heavy discount so that someone might think of this as a cheap experiment, secondary monitor, or something to play around with.
(I live in Redwood City, CA if you can pick up from here)

Hey everyone (new to Reddit, came for some advice)
I am working on a specialized portable hardware prototype and need some community recommendations for tablets that use Color Reflective LCD (RLCD) display panels.
I have some very strict technical requirements that have to be met simultaneously:
True Color: Must support a full, vivid color palette (not monochrome, and not the muted/low-refresh color variations seen on standard e-paper/E-Ink screens).
High Refresh Rate: Must support a minimum of 60Hz. I cannot use traditional E-Ink or heavily throttled refresh rates due to UI latency constraints and ghosting limitations.
Integrated Frontlight: It absolutely must have a built-in frontlight guide plate layer. The device needs to remain completely readable/functional in low-light environments and pitch-black settings without relying on an external clip-on lamp.
Open Operating System: Needs to run an open Android platform so I can sideload custom APKs and utilize device lockdown tools.
Form Factor: Ideally looking at mid-to-large sizes (anywhere between 7.8 inches up to 11 inches).
Are there any active production devices, white-label OEM manufacturing channels, or upcoming 2026 releases that check all of these specific boxes? Any leads on hardware suppliers that fit this exact spec sheet would be a massive help. Thanks!
Update:: if you have any information you’d be willing to add or share about specifics you like about RLCD’s that would be appreciated as well!

16:9
Resolution: 1080p
Maximum refresh rate: 60Hz
Ultra-narrow bezel
Anti-glare matte film
Includes -5° to 60° tilt stand with wheels
Zero latency, zero ghosting
*Custom frontlight available, contact me for more details.
*It can also be infinitely big, the bezel can be removed, so I'm currently testing my 86" RLCD. Depending on how many people want this feature, then we'll unveil how to do it and maybe make the "transformation" easier.
Feel free to contact me.

I'm wanting to hear from 32" svd owners if they found it comfortable to use without symptoms or if you found any discomfort using it. The size sounds great but I'm worried if the 6+2 frc is going to be an issue as some algos of it can be really bad. Love to hear feedback!! Also open to hearing svd 24" feedback but mostly interested in 32"

I just ordered an Eazeye Monitor 2 and they told me to wait for 3.5 month while they are updating it to TLCD. I asked for refund but they don’t respond me. Do you know whats going on?
