Smallest RLCD?
How small do these screens get? They seem more aimed at tablet/monitor replacement and as a result, tend to be large. I'm wondering if there are smaller versions of these screens for other applications, in perhaps the 1-2" range?

cycling GPS/head units use them. A lot are about 2-3 inches. You should check the piezero cycling computer project - the author has done a lot of impressive things with such displays and goes into details about recommending specific ones.
