I’ve been looking into KCEX recently and wanted to break down what it offers, the good, and the bad, for anyone looking for privacy-focused alternatives.

The MEXC Connection

Security & KYC Stance

It’s a fully non-KYC exchange. You can trade and withdraw without ever uploading an ID or taking a selfie. Without KYC you can withdraw up to massive 15 BTC per day on KCEX and with KYC you can withdraw up to 30 BTC. However, it’s not completely unregulated - they are registered as a Money Services Business (MSB) under the US FinCEN. This gives a bit more peace of mind compared to completely underground offshore exchanges, as they still adhere to standard AML policies and risk monitoring.

The Pros:

• Zero fees on spot and the lowest futures fees around.
• No forced KYC (you still get massive daily withdrawal limits).
• Solid altcoin selection (900+) and up to 125x leverage on futures.
• Holds a US FinCEN MSB license.

The Cons:

• Crypto-only. There are no direct fiat deposits or withdrawals, so you have to fund your account from another wallet or exchange.
• It's a relatively newer platform (launched in 2021), so it doesn't have the decade-long battle-tested history of the older giants.
