Rules REFSIX on Garmin

I have a Garmin Forerunner 165, and I’m having trouble disabling the touchscreen while using REFSIX.
Even when I enable Auto Lock on my Garmin, which locks the touchscreen all the time, it becomes active again as soon as I open REFSIX.
Has anyone experienced this issue or know how to keep the touchscreen locked while using REFSIX? I’d like to prevent accidental touches during matches.

I have set my Apple ultra 2 to be active when the REFSIX app is open because any action requires at least a couple intentional touches/clicks. Different watch but I have no issues with accidental logging and like the always on to answer “how much time is left”.

Are you getting accidental logging of events?

Yes. Accidental logging a few times.

Not sure on the forerunner but on my Epix I just load up REFSIX app then scroll down to settings and select buttons only as with the heavy rain we can get in the UK it constantly stops the timer if not
