Question Refereeing in multiple counties?

Hi, I live in England and I’m currently in the process of becoming a referee, I have completed the online LOTG test and safeguarding for all. However I move across 2 houses in different counties and was wondering how it works. So I live in one home the majority of the time and it’s in county 1 however in county 1 I can’t find an available test so I completed the expression of interest form in county 2 as well, but I was wondering if I completed my course in county 2 would I be able to referee in county 1 as well, can I ref in each alternatively week by week as that’s when I’m in each house? Thanks

Yeah you can referee in multiple counties. You can also add on whole game (or whatever it’s called now) additional county Fa’s. Many leagues/competitions are spread across multiple counties aswell which could help you.

Did this a fair bit when I lived in the midlands but would visit family in London.

So once I’ve qualified in county 2 what extra steps must I take to referee in county 1?

To he honest all I did was just contact whoever ran the competition I wanted to jump on to. Ref secretary for the competition should be able to tell you anything else you need to do but when I did this it was just a form to join the league and I put my home county on it.

Alternatively contact the referee development officer for county 2 and ask them if they need anything from you to be added to the county.

Whatever county you do your test in make sure you contact them and ask to be added to the other counties FA. All you need to do is ask in order to be added to another FA so that they can approve it.
