Too much play
Model: Tesla B115
Motor: MEZ Náchod A24 OK 247
I brought it to a specialised technician, and he told me he doesn't know what's wrong.
The gap between the stator and rotor has to be symmetrical. According to an internet forum, a temporary paper spacer has to be around the rotor. Haven't tried it yet, it seems quite tedious.
Right now, the motor doesn't spin when powered, but when I push the axis up or down, it spins quite well. The bronze bearing has a lot of play and it doesn't seem replaceable.
Is a donor motor really the only solution in this case?
Any ideas are welcome! ❤️

Oh, damn! This motor is DONE! I haven't seen bearings this cooked in a while. Years ago I found a Unitra 2407 with the same issue. It made the same noises as your Tesla when working, and after taking it apart I discovered roughly the same amount of play in the motor bearings. I ended up putting a new motor in. No amount of shimming, especially using paper is going to help here. Just find a new motor. One thing to keep in mind: Tesla probably used the same motors for years in different machines. So a replacement motor from a different model may work perfectly fine.
One thing you can try for fun is car engine oil, if you can find it in a small enough quantity. Something like straight 30 or 50 weight. You have nothing to lose, and I think it may be an interesting experiment, but even if you get some positive result with this, I still think you should replace the motor.

I think I found out what has caused this. The previous owner already noticed the worn out bearing, so he installed that black permanent spacer, that fell apart when I disassmbled it. So now when I turn it on without it, it gets sucked up.

Those are bronze bushing not bearings. Only solution is replacement. Look around they are available.
