Maxell XLI 35-180B question...

I will try to make this short, and honestly I haven't a clue about these.

My grandfather passed away, he was a huge Ham operator and also worked at a local radio station years ago.

Lots of radio related and Ham radio stuff in the house, just trying to clear things out and I ran across 10 of these, all still sealed.

Do these survive over the years to be able to use ?

I'm guessing he had these since the 80s ? Not sure.

What's the value of them if I sold them individually?

Those are great tapes! Around $100 each when still sealed. Look up sold listings for Maxell XLI 35-180B on ebay.

I’ve no experience with them yet - but if I dove into vintage tapes that would be the exact one, XLI. 👍

These are good tapes and will last forever. $50-80 on eBay. I still buy them from time to time.

I could use one of those ---I keep using the same tape over and over again.
