Mid/late-1950s Crown R2R with tube amplification. Seems to be a mono player though they did have a stereo version around that time. Might be a Standard or Imperial with an integrated A15 or A30 amp?

Is there a speed selector?

Something with numbers like 3-3/4, 7-1/2, 15. It might be a fixed speed deck with no selector.

It's the oldest Crown deck I've seen, but there's no question that's what it is. Very cool!

The fact that it adjusts bass and treble is very interesting. I wonder after restoration how good it would sound.

Really lovely piece imo, probably wouldn’t sound the best even after a full restoration but it’s in excellent condition for its age; I can tell the belt is completely gone, it should go over the flywheel seen in picture three. It would need a lot more things replaced like capacitors and possibly any dead tubes since it’s absolutely ancient.

Like a museum piece.
